Bronchiectasis Treatment

Reverse Bronchi Degeneration from Bronchiectasis Using Natural Solutions

  • Have you been diagnosed with bronchiectasis and suffer from a chronic cough with lots of phlegm, shortness of breath, and chest pain?
  • Are you still having difficulty breathing even with the help of oxygen?
  • Is your quality of life severely impaired and your condition getting progressively worse?
  • Are you contemplating a lung transplant as a treatment option?

The experienced practitioners at Wei Institute can help you stop and reverse the progression of your condition using Wei Laboratories Soup A, Soup B, LC Balancer, and CL-2 that focus on the following four aspects:

1) CL-2 clears bronchi and lung tissue inflammation and infection by gram-negative bacteria and other types of co-infective pathogens.*

2) Soup A nourishes the bronchi and assists in healthy bronchi tissue growth and reverses bronchial dilation by enhancing elastin regeneration and reducing its degradation.*

3) Soup B resolves scar tissue accumulation in the bronchi by facilitating the specific catabolic process that replaces scar tissue with newly regenerated tissue.*

4) LC Balancer enhances microcirculation to clear up mucus and inflammation in the bronchial tubes and facilitate a more productive cough.*

The combined treatment can help patients reduce symptoms within a short period of time and improve degenerative conditions for long term relief and long-lasting effects.

  • Reduce coughing with phlegm and improve shortness of breath in 2 weeks*
  • Reduce oxygen dependence within 1 month if the patient is using oxygen*
  • Reverse bronchi degeneration and improve its structure and function *

Patients are encouraged to have a pulmonary function test to confirm the improvement of their lung condition upon finishing the treatment program. If you have any questions, please click here to contact us for further information.

Patient Story

34% Improvement in Lung Capacity in Bronchiectasis Patient

Dr. Janet Yarger, DC, FASA

An 82-year-old female patient inquired about treatment for her diagnosis of bronchiectasis that was causing her various symptoms, such as constantly coughing up mucus, shortness of breath with a lung capacity of 64%, and severe fatigue. She was recommended a two-part treatment regimen starting with CL to help clear lung tissue inflammation and infection, CL-2 to clear gram-negative bacteria, and Jade to help boost the immunity of the lungs to fight off repeat infections.

After 4 weeks of the protocol, the patient had noticed an improvement in the number of times she was coughing up mucus, an increase in her daily energy levels, and less shortness of breath.

It was recommended to move on to the second portion of the protocol after 3 months to see further sustained improvement. The patient followed a regimen of Soup A to help repair the bronchi damage to reverse bronchi dilation and facilitate new tissue growth through increasing the metabolic activities of tissue regeneration, Soup B to help to remove scars in the bronchi and resolve bronchial thickening, and LC Balancer strengthens the micro capillaries and helps open it up to improve systematic microcirculation and clear mucus and inflammation in the bronchial tubes.

After she completed her 6-month recommendation, the patient went to get a lung capacity test. Her lung capacity before starting the treatment was at 64%, after the protocol, it had gone up to 98%. The patient was thrilled with her results and has since seen almost a full recovery in her daily activities with little to no shortness of breath or mucus production and sustained energy levels.*

Significant Respiratory and Sleep Issues Improvement in Bronchiectasis Patient

Dr. Rise Finkle, ND, NY

A 48-year-old female patient presented with bronchiectasis, fatigue, ulcer, symptoms of chronic cough, dyspnea, acid reflux, insomnia, and anxiety. She had history of Barrett’s Esophagitis, hiatal hernia, sinus infections, bronchitis, and low back pain. Her bronchiectasis was diagnosed by CT scan. She was using an inhaler and taking omeprazole. Her family history included brother and sister both diagnosed with bronchiectasis, and an aunt who died from a lung condition suspected to be bronchiectasis.

The patient at that time was suffering from anxiety due to a difficult marriage, a teen daughter, and a stressful job which all contributed to insomnia and fatigue. Her job as a professor required long hours of speaking in front of a classroom filled with college students with exposure to COVID.

Over the next few years, the patient was treated with acupuncture, Chinese herbs, homeopathy, and nutritional supplements. She also saw a chiropractor, therapist, and infectious disease specialist. Her goals were to decrease bronchial and sinus infections, increase lung capacity and energy, resolve reflux, insomnia, and anxiety.

Over the next few years, with just those modalities, symptoms improved slightly, but not significantly. Symptoms then worsened during a stressful divorce, increased work stress, and raising a teenage daughter alone during COVID and the divorce. Insomnia, chronic cough with blood in sputum, reflux, and intermittent lung and sinus infections continued, as well as surgery for appendicitis.

About 8 years into her treatment, the patient began taking a course of Wei Laboratories herbs: CL, Soup A, Soup B and CL-2. On her next visit, the patient reported no blood in her sputum, the ability to take deep breaths and laugh without coughing, and the ability to run upstairs without getting tired.

Two months later, she ran out of Wei Lab herbs and reported the cough was returning with the beginning of bronchitis. About 6 months later, she again started taking Wei Labs herbs, and “immediately felt better”. She started with a round of Soup A, Soup B, and LC Balancer, and Jade, then switched to CL and “felt like something is clearing.” Again, upon feeling much better, the patient stopped Wei Labs and her cough with blood and yellow sputum returned during a particular stressful time. She began LC Balancer and Soup A and reported feeling much better.

Again, upon feeling better, she stopped the Wei Lab herbs and caught the flu from her daughter with symptoms of diarrhea and vomiting which required antibiotics and she was left with overwhelming fatigue. Insomnia and fatigue made all respiratory and gastric symptoms worse.

A month later, she began another protocol of Wei Lab herbs Soup A and Soup B, LC Balancer, alternating with CL and Jade. Immediately, she reported a significant shift in her illness. Respiratory symptoms improved quickly. Breathing became easier, cough lessened significantly.

Sleep continued to be a challenge due to family, work and financial stress and anxiety. The patient reported a long history of insomnia, over 15 years, during which she was trying a variety of sleep aids which didn’t produce lasting results and didn’t address the anxiety. She began Wei Labs Hepavin and Calm and within a few days was sleeping 8 hours a night consistently. She reports feeling “even, so much more myself” with improved clarity.

Currently, she reports significantly improved energy, clear thinking, decreased anxiety. All respiratory symptoms have improved significantly since started the Wei Labs protocol.*

Successful Resolution of Rheumatoid Lung Disease and Bronchiectasis
Charles Lerner, DC, LAC, CT, November 2016

A 51-year old female with rheumatoid lung disease and Bronchiectasis initiated treatment with Dr. Lerner utilizing Soup A, CL-2, and LC Balancer in February 2015. After three weeks, she reported increased energy, reduction of colored phlegm and had not used her inhaler since starting on course of treatment. *At this point, she continued her treatment with only the lung yin formula and the kidney yin formula. After the next month, she was able to walk up a flight of stairs without becoming short of breath. She now enjoys increased stamina and does not feel the past symptoms of chest tightness.

Her residual symptoms included bubbly mucus coming from the lungs, and a strong chest rattle in the morning. Dr. Lerner recommended the use of KS, Xcel, and Java formulas to help with kidney function and to improve her immune function. After just two weeks, she was able to walk up five flights of stairs with a laptop, a purse and an additional bag of books and despite her exertion she did not lose her breath at all. After an additional month and a half, her chest tightness and rattle had completely gone. She now only experiences symptoms during times when she has a cold and uses CL formula as needed to help her to rebound from these occasional small infections very quickly.*
